Abstract. The tourist and recreational resources of the Almaty region of the Dzungaria Mountains, the Northern and Central Tien Shan have always determined which tourist personnel should be trained in Almaty and the region. At the present stage, this certainty has become even more pronounced. One of the important consequences of COVID-19 in Kazakhstan was the fact that several active types of tourism, and especially mountain tourism, began to develop faster. And this phenomenon has led to the demand for sports tourism instructors and mountain guides.

Abstract. The study reveals the peculiarities of the ideas of qualified basketball players about the predictability of the actions of players taking place on the court in accordance with the current game situation. It was revealed that group actions in defense are the least predictable and affect the emotional state of the players negatively, which indicates the shortcomings of the training process in these training components.
